Sowerby Bridge Rushbearing present Foundry Street Community Centrenwith a Cheque for £250
Following a presentation at an Active Calderdale discussion group by Foundry Street Trustee Andrew Broadbent, Alastair Baigent of Sowerby Bridge Rushbearing offered to donate £250 to the Centre to help pay for paint in order to redecorate the basement area. Paint is very expensive, and with the size of the Centre we need as much help as we can get. Alastair came down on the 12th March and presented Trustees Sheila Eastwood and Andrew Broadbent with the cheque, on behalf of the Rushbearing Committee. Thanks to this generous donation, the redecoration of the basement is well under way and will soon be finished.
